3/12/09 We did it! Anoop Desai has advanced to the Top 11 in this season's American Idol! 2/19/09 The first 3 members of this year's Top 12 have been announced...and sadly Anoop was not one of them. However, we're very confident that Anoop will be one of the WILDCARDS chosen by the Judges on March 5, so don't despair! Get ready to vote next week! 2/6/09 Though Anoop didn't get much face-time during this week's "Group Night" audition in Hollywood, American Idol saved the best for last as they picked Anoop's silky voice to close out the show this week and announce next week's contestants! And if you put stock in the rumor sites, it has been announced that Anoop has made Idol's Top 36! 1/15/09 We're thrilled to announce that longtime VocalSource client and former UNC Clef Hanger Anoop Desai has made it to Hollywood in the 2009 season of American Idol! With a unanimous vote from the judges, former UNC Clef Hanger Anoop Desai joins a select handful of Idol auditionees from across the United States as he travels to Hollywood to compete in the next round of auditions. Previously featured internationally as a soloist on BOCA 2007 and Sing 4, along with a slew of Clef Hanger covers, "Noop Dogg" has been melting hearts for years with his rich, silky voice.
